Depraved

Depraved is a city-builder in the old frontier style, where the player tries to keep a settlement alive on rough terrain with scarce resources. By our assessment, its appeal is the frontier survival loop: gathering, building, and watching whether the town can keep its footing against hunger and bad conditions. The downside is that this kind of game can feel brittle if the simulation does not keep pace with the idea, and the management can become repetitive once the basic pattern is set. In practice it is about placing structures, balancing needs, and riding out the slow pressure of a hard map rather than chasing spectacle. It sits closer to survival management than to a relaxed building sandbox, so the mood is harsher than in many city-builders. Depraved makes sense for players who like resource pressure and frontier themes, and less sense for anyone wanting a soft, decorative builder.
