Defiance 2050

Defiance 2050 is a looter-shooter MMO built for players who want public events, guns with build variety, and a science-fiction world they can dip into in short bursts. By our assessment, its most familiar strength is the straightforward loop: shoot, loot, upgrade, repeat, with enough MMO structure to keep the world busy. The downside is that it lives in a crowded field, where tighter gunfeel and stronger long-term systems are easy to find elsewhere. In practice it is the sort of game where movement, events, and loadout changes matter more than deep story, and the pace is designed around constant action. It sits between shared-world shooters and lighter MMO missions rather than standing as a deep role-playing world. Defiance 2050 is for people who mainly want a sci-fi shooter with persistent online trappings, and it does not try to be a heavy, story-first MMO.
