Defend The Highlands

Defend The Highlands is a tower-defense style game for people who like placing units, reading enemy routes, and tightening a layout until it holds. By our assessment, its appeal is the simple loop of building a line, watching where pressure breaks through, and adjusting the defense instead of just reacting late. The limit is the usual one for this kind of game: once the map and unit set are understood, replay depends on variation and on how much you enjoy refinement. In practice it is about small decisions made under pressure, not spectacle, and that makes it feel closer to careful planning than to action. Compared with broader strategy games, it should be more focused and quicker to read. The name promises a defensive job, and the game seems built around that one job, with little reason to want it if the genre itself does not already appeal.
