Deepworld

Deepworld is a side-scrolling crafting survival game for players who like digging, building, and keeping a fragile base alive while threats close in. By our assessment, its strongest pull is the mix of mining, multiplayer, and persistent world pressure: you are not just collecting blocks, you are trying to make a workable place out of them. The trade-off is that this kind of game asks for patience and a tolerance for repetition, because progress comes through slow gathering and repairs rather than constant novelty. In practice it is the sort of game where a small success, like a defended tunnel or a useful machine, matters more than flashy set pieces. It sits near Terraria and other sandbox survival games, but with a heavier emphasis on cooperation and on keeping a shared space running. People who enjoy patient building loops and improvised problem-solving will get more from it than players looking for a guided campaign.
