Death to Spies is a stealth-action game for people who prefer slipping past guards, timing movements, and using disguise or timing over open firefights. By our assessment, its best feature is the spy-fiction fantasy of working quietly inside war zones and enemy spaces, which gives it a different flavor from louder action games. The downside is that stealth games can feel unforgiving: a bad route, a mistimed step, or a failed plan often means doing a section again. In practice that makes it slower and more attentive than a run-and-gun game, with more waiting, watching, and re-trying than spectacle. Compared with broad military shooters, it is narrower and more methodical, and that is exactly where its identity sits.
