Deadlink

Deadlink is a cyberpunk shooter that pushes speed first: quick runs, aggressive firefights, and the feeling that standing still is the one mistake the game does not forgive. By our assessment, its strength is the tight loop of movement, damage, and upgrades that keeps each run focused on momentum. The cost is familiarity: roguelite structure means repetition, and the same arenas and enemy patterns return often enough that the game depends on your liking that loop. In practice it plays like a hard-edged, fast restart rather than a long campaign, so the pace stays sharp even when the map changes. It sits closer to modern roguelite shooters than to story-led sci-fi action, and it asks more of reflexes than of patience. If a player wants a run-based shooter with constant pressure, it fits well; if they want a big narrative or a calm pace, it does not.
