DeadCore is a precision platformer for players who like walls, jumps, and momentum to matter more than story or combat. By our assessment, its main strength is the clean first-person movement and the way it turns vertical spaces into a sequence of exact routes. The cost of that focus is clear: mistimed jumps and awkward camera turns can make progress feel harsh, because the game expects attention and repeat attempts. In practice it has the feel of moving through a hostile industrial space with just enough tools to keep climbing. DeadCore sits near the harder end of the platformer spectrum, closer to speedrun-friendly trial-and-error than to a relaxed adventure. It is not interested in broad variety, and it asks for patience with its tight movement model, which is the whole point of the thing.
