Dead Age

Dead Age blends survival, party management, and turn-based combat into a zombie-road story. It is a role-playing strategy game for players who like juggling food, morale, injuries, and mission choices while a small group tries to stay alive on the move. By our assessment, it is solid at creating pressure through scarce resources and a constant sense that one bad decision can ripple through the whole camp. The downside is that the systems can feel more grim than deep, and the repetition of scavenging and fighting can wear thin if the loop does not click. In practice it is all about planning, attrition, and accepting losses instead of pretending every run can be clean. Compared with heavier strategy RPGs, Dead Age is narrower and more survival-focused, with less room for role-play flourish and more for hard choices. It suits people who enjoy zombie management and tense turns, and it will not satisfy anyone looking for a generous, character-driven epic.
