DarkHouse sounds like a horror game that leans on a familiar setup: a house, dark rooms, and the usual business of moving carefully through them. By our assessment, that kind of game lives on atmosphere and simple tension, which can work well if the scares are timed tightly and the space is easy to read. The limit is that this is also a crowded corner of games, so a thin premise can feel interchangeable fast. In practice the appeal is usually in slow exploration and the fear of what waits just off-screen, while the downside is how much it depends on atmosphere doing most of the work. It sits with the smaller, mood-first horror titles rather than with systems-heavy survival games, and the name itself tells you almost the whole pitch.
