Dark Envoy

Dark Envoy is a party-based role-playing game for players who want class building, tactical fights, and a darker science-fantasy setting. By our assessment, its main strength is the mix of party management and combat that asks you to think about positioning, skills, and how the group works together. The cost is that this style slows things down, and the game is not interested in the quick snap of an action RPG. In practice, it means spending time on builds, pausing to sort a fight, and living with the consequences of weak setup. It sits in a crowded middle ground between classic isometric RPGs and more streamlined modern action games. By our assessment, Dark Envoy suits people who enjoy planning a party and does not suit anyone who wants a fast, hands-off ride.
