DSX

DSX is for people who want haptics, dualSense-style controller support, and a way to make a PC game talk more cleanly to a PlayStation controller. By our assessment, its best use is in translating controller features that many games ignore, so the stick, trigger, and feedback side of play can feel less generic. The downside is that a utility like this depends on compatibility and on how much setup a user is willing to do, which is never the glamour part. In practice it sits in the background, adjusting input and force-feedback behavior rather than turning a game into something new. Compared with broad controller remappers, DSX is narrower and more specialized, and that narrowness is the point.
