DRAGON BALL LEGENDS is built for fans of the franchise who want fast one-on-one anime fighting with cards, swaps, and timed attacks on a phone screen. By our assessment, its strength is the recognisable fan service wrapped around a combat system that asks for quick reactions and some timing, not just tapping for the sake of it. The downside is that licensed mobile fighters often live and die on repetition, and this one is no exception. In practice it has a brisk, flashy rhythm, with fights that are easy to start and easy to understand once the rules settle. It sits above generic licensed tie-ins because the battle flow has some real shape, but it is still a mobile brawler first. People who want the world and characters will get more from it than anyone looking for deep competitive fighting.
