DOOM VFR makes the old speed-and-chaos formula work in virtual reality, where snapping between targets and physically turning changes the whole feel. The trade-off is comfort and precision, because VR movement systems can feel less natural than a flat-screen shooter, and not everyone will want that extra physical effort. In play it is quick, aggressive, and built around short bursts rather than long tactical setups, so the pace stays high and the room around you matters as much as the screen did before. Compared with mainline DOOM entries, it is a side branch with a narrower audience, but a memorable one because the movement is tied to the headset rather than only the thumbstick. DOOM VFR is strongest when someone wants arcade violence in VR and does not mind a bit of clumsiness in exchange for that bodily snap.
