By our assessment, its strongest trick is the immediate tension of a horror setup where noise itself becomes the mistake. The obvious downside is narrowness, because once the core joke lands, the format has less room for variety than a fuller horror game. In practice it means careful movement, self-control, and a lot of second-guessing in a short session. Against standard jump-scare horror, it feels more like a challenge about restraint than a tour of monsters and set pieces.
