DIVINATION

DIVINATION usually points to a game built around reading signs, making guesses, or working with hidden information, so the appeal sits in interpretation rather than raw action. By our assessment, that can be strong when the rules turn uncertainty into real tension and make each choice feel like a judgment call. The downside is simple: if the game does not give enough feedback, the guessing can start to feel arbitrary instead of clever. In practice, these games often move in a slower, more thoughtful rhythm, with the player weighing clues instead of chasing movement. DIVINATION sits closer to deduction and mystery than to action, and it is best for people who like forming theories, not for those who want constant spectacle.
