DEAD OR SCHOOL

DEAD OR SCHOOL feels like a side-scrolling action RPG built for people who enjoy constant combat, loot chasing, and moving through ruined spaces with a lot of enemy pressure. By our assessment, its main appeal is the simple loop of fighting forward, collecting gear, and pushing through a grimy post-collapse setting that gives the whole thing a rough, energetic pace. The downside is that this kind of game can lean hard on repetition, and if the combat or progression does not click, the rest has little room to hide. In practice it should play like a focused grind rather than a story-heavy adventure, with the usual demands of timing, upgrade choices, and patience for repeated runs. It sits closer to compact action-RPG territory than to polished blockbuster design, with less concern for breadth than for keeping the pressure on.
