DARK

DARK is a stealth-action vampire game that stands out because it turns the player into a creature that prefers the shadows over open fights. By our assessment, its best trick is the vampire fantasy itself: stalking, draining enemies, and leaning on powers that make being unseen part of the loop. That also sets its limit, because the sneaking and combat can feel rough when the systems are less generous than the idea. In practice, it is the kind of game where patience matters more than speed, and where a missed approach can flatten the rhythm of a whole encounter. Compared with cleaner stealth games, it is less polished but more committed to its premise, which gives it a distinct place even if it is not the easiest recommendation.
