Crazy Machines

Crazy Machines is a physics-puzzle game for players who enjoy building contraptions, setting off chains of motion, and then fixing the mess when the first plan does not quite work. By our assessment, its best quality is the readable cause-and-effect loop: place parts, watch what happens, adjust, and try again. That makes it satisfying in a very hands-on way, especially if the pleasure comes from tinkering rather than from story or speed. The trade-off is that this sort of puzzle can become fiddly, because one wrong angle or misplaced piece breaks the chain. In practice it feels like a toy box full of levers, balls, ramps, and triggers, with the fun coming from testing ideas rather than from polished drama. It sits comfortably among classic engineering puzzles, and Crazy Machines is strongest when the player likes experimentation more than certainty.
