Contraband Police

Contraband Police puts you in the job of checking papers, opening vehicles, and spotting smuggling tricks at a border post, which is a good fit for players who enjoy procedure-heavy games. By our assessment, its best idea is the daily routine itself: compare documents, inspect cargo, and decide what gets through. That makes it different from louder action games, because the pressure comes from detail work rather than firefights. The downside is the same one that powers it: repetition can set in once the inspection loop becomes familiar, and the fun depends on how much you like order, rules, and small mistakes mattering. In practice it is a game of looking closely and following steps, so the texture is more paperwork-and-searchlight than spectacle. It sits near other border, police, and inspection simulators, but with a more suspicious, low-stakes feel than a pure action title. The name says exactly what you do, which is handy because the game does not try to hide its paperwork.
