Commandos 2 - HD Remaster

Commandos 2 - HD Remaster lives on the same idea that made the original famous: slow, exact, squad-based stealth where timing matters more than speed. By our assessment, its real strength is the tactical puzzle of using each specialist for a narrow job, then chaining those jobs together while enemy sight lines and patrols stay unforgiving. The trade-off is that this is still an old-school design, so a missed order or a bad camera angle can turn one mistake into a long reset. In practice it feels like planning a burglary under pressure, with lots of pausing, scouting, and careful micromanagement. The HD remaster gives it cleaner presentation, but it does not change the fact that this is a demanding strategy game first and a comfortable one second. It sits well above casual stealth and well below anything loose or cinematic, and the number 2 in the title is just part of the name, not a promise of speed.
