Comanche 4

Comanche 4 keeps the old helicopter-sim idea focused on flying attack missions rather than dressing them up. By our assessment, that makes it a decent pick for people who want cockpit work, terrain reading, and weapon use more than open-ended spectacle. The drawback is also the appeal: it is narrow, mechanical, and not very interested in letting the player roam far from the job. In practice that means a lot of checking altitude, lining up runs, and managing the aircraft instead of getting a dramatic story. Compared with broader flight games, Comanche 4 sits on the leaner, more action-first end of the genre. The name is not subtle about being part of a series, and the game feels built for players who want that specific military-helicopter rhythm, not a relaxed tour of the sky.
