Coffee Talk

Coffee Talk is a conversation game built around serving drinks and listening to people talk through their problems, so it suits players who want a quiet story-first experience rather than action. By our assessment, its main strength is tone: the café setting, the low-key music, and the routine of making drinks give the conversations a steady, late-night feel. The downside is also part of the design, because there is little real branching or challenge, and anyone looking for systems-heavy play will find it very thin. In practice it feels like reading and mixing drinks in a calm loop, with the appeal coming from small character moments rather than dramatic turns. It sits closer to a visual novel or a narrative sim than to a traditional game, and that difference is exactly the point. Coffee Talk is the kind of thing to reach for when the mood matters more than mechanics.
