City of Gangsters

City of Gangsters is for players who like economic strategy with criminal skin on top: bootlegging, supply chains, territory, and pressure from rival crews. By our assessment, its strongest point is the way it turns the city into a business map, where routes and shortages matter as much as muscle. The honest limit is that this is more about planning than spectacle, so anyone wanting constant action or a big cinematic story may bounce off it. In practice it feels like building a small illicit machine and then keeping it fed, defended, and profitable. Compared with many gang-themed games, it is more managerial and less shootout-heavy, which makes it stand out. City of Gangsters suits people who enjoy strategy games that reward patience, and it is less convincing if the criminal theme is the main reason for coming. The title tells the truth about the setting, but the play is mostly spreadsheets, routes, and pressure points.
