Cities in Motion 2

Cities in Motion 2 is a transport-management game for people who enjoy setting bus lines, tram routes, and metro connections and then watching a city move around those choices. By our assessment, its strongest point is the living timetable puzzle: rush hour, transfers, congestion, and line balance all matter, so a neat network feels earned rather than automatic. The downside is that the appeal is mechanical and not very glamorous, and the interface can feel busy when the map fills with routes, stops, and statistics. In play it is a planning game first and a toy city second, with constant small adjustments instead of big dramatic moments. Compared with simpler city builders, it cares much more about public transport as a system than about skyline decoration. Cities in Motion 2 suits players who like spreadsheets with streets on them, and it is less friendly to anyone who wants a relaxed sandbox with little micromanagement.
