Citadelum

Citadelum is a city-builder for players who like running a settlement from the ground up and watching the systems press against one another. By our assessment, its appeal comes from the familiar loop of roads, production, population needs, and the slow act of making a place function. That gives it a real strength: city builders are satisfying when each part clicks into the next, and Citadelum seems to lean into that kind of management. The downside is the usual one for the genre, which is that the pace can become methodical and the mistakes are often hidden in the chain rather than at the surface. In practice this means planning layouts, balancing resources, and fixing small bottlenecks before they grow into bigger ones. It sits with the strategy games that ask for attention and patience rather than reflexes, and it will be strongest for people who enjoy building systems instead of chasing action. Citadelum is about keeping the whole machine moving one decision at a time.
