By our assessment, its best trick is the little companion mechanic of moving between an old inventor and a snail-like sidekick, which gives the platforming and puzzle work a neat rhythm. The downside is that time-based puzzles can become fussy when the logic clicks less cleanly than the idea sounds on paper. In play, it tends to feel thoughtful and a bit stop-start, with a lot of switching between characters and trying routes again after learning how the world behaves. Compared with many indie puzzlers, it has a stronger identity than plain key-and-door design.
