Children of the Sun

Children of the Sun turns every shot into a puzzle, and that is what makes it memorable. By our assessment, this is a sniper-puzzle game for players who enjoy lining up one careful move at a time rather than spraying bullets and improvising under pressure. Its big strength is the single-bullet loop: one shot, then steering its path through enemies and obstacles, so each room becomes a small planning exercise. The downside is that the whole game rests on that idea, and once the rhythm is understood, the challenge comes more from execution than from variety. In practice it feels sharp, deliberate, and a little tense, with a lot of restarting until the angle is right. It sits much closer to puzzle action than to a standard shooter, and that makes it stand out in a crowded field. Children of the Sun is best when someone wants a focused challenge with unusual aim mechanics, not a long-form campaign of systems and loot. It keeps the rules simple enough that every mistake is visible.
