Cepheus Protocol is the kind of game that asks for patience, because it leans into survival strategy, base pressure, and fighting off an escalating threat instead of offering quick comfort. By our assessment, its best idea is that constant sense of containment failure: you are trying to hold a situation together while the map keeps becoming harder to manage. That also makes it demanding, since this sort of strategy can feel punishing when the player wants clean feedback and steady control. It sits nearer to tense real-time survival management than to relaxed city building, and Cepheus Protocol is most appealing when a grim, resource-tight loop is exactly the point.
