Cat Simulator

Cat Simulator is the sort of game people open for the joke first and the sandbox second. By our assessment, it is a harmless novelty built around pretending to be a cat, which usually means knocking things over, wandering around, and treating ordinary spaces as a toy box. That simple idea is the strength: it is easy to grasp in a second and does not ask for a big commitment. The downside is just as plain, because once the gag is understood, there is not much room for depth unless the specific version adds missions, physics quirks, or some larger system. In practice, these games live or die on movement feel and little interactions, not on challenge or story. Cat Simulator sits close to the casual animal-play games at one end and the more polished life sims at the other; by our assessment, it is fine for a short playful stretch, but not for anyone wanting a rich simulation.
