Carrier Deck is a card-driven strategy game that asks for planning, timing, and a willingness to manage several moving parts at once. By our assessment, its good side is the way it turns a carrier deck into a tight tactical space, so placement and order matter every turn. The limit is that this sort of game can feel busy before it feels elegant, especially if you do not enjoy juggling systems. In practice it is a lot of arranging, reacting, and trying to keep the whole board from slipping out of shape. Compared with grand strategy, it stays small and focused; compared with a simple card game, it is more demanding about coordination. Carrier Deck suits players who enjoy controlled pressure and layered decisions, and it does not pretend to be relaxed.
