Caribbean Legend

Caribbean Legend asks for patience more than quick reflexes: it is a pirate RPG for people who want to sail, trade, chase quests, and manage a ship rather than rush through set-piece fights. By our assessment, its main appeal is the amount of world it tries to put under the player’s control, with roaming, faction play, and the usual open-ended pirate-business loop. The trade-off is that this kind of game can feel old-fashioned in the time it takes to get moving, and its systems are the sort that reward reading, menu work, and a willingness to put up with rough edges. In practice that means slower travel, inventory fuss, and a lot of small decisions between battles and ports. It sits closer to classic pirate sandbox RPGs than to a modern action game, and the people most likely to enjoy it are the ones who like building their own route through a messy sea. Those looking for speed and clean structure will probably bounce off it.
