Capitalism 2

Capitalism 2 is for players who like systems rather than set pieces, especially economic management built around production chains, pricing, and competition. By our assessment, it is strong at making money feel like a machine you have to understand, with the usual satisfaction of watching one clean decision ripple through a whole business. The downside is that this kind of management game can be dry, spreadsheet-like, and unfriendly if someone wants story or action on the surface. In practice it asks for planning, reading numbers, and patience more than reflexes, which is exactly why fans of the genre keep coming back to it. Compared with flashy business sims, it is more about the logic of the market than about presentation. The name is plain about its focus, and the game lives or dies by whether that focus is interesting to the person in front of it.
