Caliban Below

Caliban Below sounds like a descent-focused game, the kind that leans on underground spaces, danger, and a slower, heavier mood. By our assessment, that sort of setup can be compelling when it uses atmosphere and careful pacing well, because the player is usually working against darkness, uncertainty, or tight movement. The downside is that a game built on mood can feel narrow if the systems do not give enough variety. Caliban Below sits closer to tense exploration or survival-minded design than to broad action, so it asks for patience more than reflexes. It is the sort of title that may reward attention to detail, and it will not suit anyone expecting constant speed or loud spectacle.
