CASE: Animatronics is a horror game built around hiding, listening, and reacting to threats that move through a cramped, security-camera-heavy space. By our assessment, its main strength is that old-school surveillance tension: you watch corridors, shut doors, and try to stay a step ahead of hostile machines. The downside is that this kind of setup can feel repetitive once the loop of watch, move, hide, repeat sets in. In practice it is more about nerve and timing than about action, and the atmosphere does a lot of the work. It sits in the crowded lane of stealth horror that borrows from the animatronic-chase formula, so it lives or dies on how much that particular pressure appeals. CASE: Animatronics is for players who want jumpy, tense stalking rather than exploration, and it will not do much for anyone who wants broad systems or a generous pace.
