C. Kane

C. Kane is a small-footprint action platformer with a spy-fiction feel, built around moving fast, shooting things, and surviving on reflexes more than on setup. By our assessment, its appeal is the old-school directness: it wants you to learn routes, react quickly, and keep going rather than manage a lot of systems. The downside is that this kind of game has a tight ceiling, because once the movement and combat patterns are understood, there is not much room for surprise. In practice it sounds like a compact arcade-style run where repetition is part of the deal. It sits closer to a brisk retro action game than to anything expansive or story-heavy. C. Kane is for players who want a sharp, simple pace and do not need much around it.
