Burgers

Burgers is a fast, simple arcade-style game, and that immediately tells you the kind of attention it wants: short bursts, quick reactions, not careful long-term planning. By our assessment, it works best when the loop is clean and readable, because this sort of game lives or dies on how clearly the action can be followed. The downside is built in to the format: once the basic trick is understood, there is not much room for depth unless the score chase or challenge curve is especially sharp. In practice that usually means repeat runs, small failures, and the satisfaction of shaving a few mistakes off a familiar loop. Compared with bigger action or strategy games, Burgers sits on the lighter, more disposable end of the shelf, which is fine if that is what someone wants. It is for players who like quick arcade play and do not need a sprawling system around it. As our assessment, it sounds like a modest game rather than a long-haul one.
