Broken Reality

Broken Reality is a puzzle adventure about moving through a stylised digital world and reading its spaces for clues. By our assessment, its appeal comes from that odd, synthetic look and from the way it turns exploration into a slow process of noticing patterns rather than rushing past them. The trade-off is pace: this kind of game can feel abstract if a player wants clear signposting or constant action. In practice it is the sort of thing you poke at, backtrack through, and gradually decode, with more attention on mood and layout than on combat. It sits closer to other first-person puzzle adventures than to any broad action game, and the right audience is people who like deciphering spaces. Broken Reality will not suit anyone looking for a straightforward story march or quick gratification.
