Boson X

Boson X is all about reflexes, not sightseeing. By our assessment, it is a fast runner where you keep a character alive by jumping between spinning, shifting platforms while the world keeps collapsing around you, so the appeal is in clean timing and quick recovery. It is genuinely good at making each mistake feel immediate and fair, because the rules are simple enough to read at speed. The downside is just as clear: it can feel relentless, and there is not much room for long-form variety once the basic loop clicks. In practice it is the kind of game that asks for concentration and repeat attempts, then rewards a small improvement with a noticeably better run. Compared with broader endless runners, Boson X is more severe and more mechanical, with less dressing and more pure motion. It suits people who like twitch timing and short restarts, and it will not do much for anyone wanting story or exploration.
