Bloons TD 4 is a classic balloon-popping tower defense game for players who like placing defenses, watching paths, and squeezing better results out of familiar maps. By our assessment, its strength is the clean readability of the whole system: towers, upgrades, and waves are easy to grasp, but there is still room to improve route control and timing. The downside is that it belongs to an earlier era of tower defense, so later entries and newer games are more elaborate in presentation and variety.
