Blindfire

Blindfire is built around a simple but demanding idea: a shooter where visibility is the real problem, so sound and positioning matter more than clean long-range aiming. By our assessment, that makes it more interesting as a tense multiplayer concept than as a broad crowd-pleaser. The good part is the pressure it creates, because fighting in near-darkness changes every step and makes each mistake feel immediate. The trade-off is just as clear: when a game leans this hard on reduced sight, it can be hard to read, hard to learn, and easy to find exhausting. In practice, that usually means short, nervous rounds, careful movement, and a lot of listening. It sits in the small corner of shooters that value sensory confusion as a mechanic, not in the mainstream lane of polished gunplay. If someone wants a neat twist on the genre, it has one; if someone wants clarity and comfort, this is not the place.
