Black Squad

Black Squad is a free-to-play online shooter for players who want quick firefights and a fairly conventional competitive loop. By our assessment, its appeal is the familiar classless gunplay: loadouts, map control, and short bursts of action are the main draw rather than any unusual gimmick. The limit is that it lives in a crowded field, so it has to compete with bigger, better-known shooters that already own this style. In practice that means tight matches, fast respawns, and a lot of attention on aim and positioning, with little patience for anyone wanting a deep campaign or strong story layer. Against the giants of the genre it looks more like a straightforward option than a standout one, but that can still be enough for someone who just wants a multiplayer shooter. It is the kind of game people try when they want something direct, and it stays very close to the standard competitive template.
