Biped

Biped turns cooperation into the whole point: two players control the little robot’s legs separately, so every step is a small coordination test. By our assessment, that gimmick is also its real strength, because it keeps the puzzles physical and the laughter immediate when the timing goes wrong. The trade-off is that it can feel awkward in solo play, since the basic joke of shared movement is much weaker when one person has to manage both halves. In practice you spend a lot of time doing careful, wobbly traversal and simple environmental problem-solving, with the controls being part of the challenge rather than a neutral tool. Compared with standard platformers, it is less about precision running and more about making movement itself the puzzle. It works best for pairs who enjoy light teamwork, and it is a poor fit for players who want smooth solo flow or deep systems.
