Bejeweled Twist is the version of match-three that swaps the usual swap-and-match loop for a rotating board, so every move asks you to think a step ahead. By our assessment, that twist is what makes it stay readable even after the novelty wears off, because each turn can change several lines at once. The downside is that it is less relaxed than classic Bejeweled: a bad rotation can unsettle the whole board, and the pace can feel harsher than the old click-and-match rhythm. In practice it is a quick puzzle game for people who like pattern spotting and small tactical set-ups, not long strategy or story. It sits neatly beside the rest of the Bejeweled series, but it is the one that most clearly turns the board itself into the puzzle.
