Beholder: Conductor

Beholder: Conductor turns surveillance into a train job, which is a neat twist on the Beholder formula. By our assessment, that is the main attraction: instead of watching an apartment block, the player manages an environment where passengers, staff, schedules, and rules all press together in a moving space. The strength is the same one the series usually relies on, namely moral pressure mixed with paperwork and observation, but here it is tied to a tighter setting. The drawback is that this kind of game can feel constrained if someone wants open-ended simulation, because the fun comes from juggling limited choices under oversight. In practice the loop is about scanning, reporting, deciding who gets attention, and living with the results. Beholder: Conductor sits between management game and dystopian story, and that blend gives it a sharper hook than a plain sequel would. It is a good fit for players who like systems of control and uneasy choices, not for anyone seeking freeform chaos.
