Bear With Me - Episode One

Bear With Me - Episode One mixes noir detective work with a toy-box cast, so it is aimed at players who enjoy dialogue, clue hunting, and a story that keeps a dry sense of humor. By our assessment, the central strength is the writing-and-art combination: the black-and-white look and the small-scale mystery give it a distinct comic-book feel. Its honest limit is that it is only the first episode, so the setup arrives before the bigger payoff, and the structure naturally asks for patience with an unfinished arc. In practice that means talking to characters, poking at the environment, and moving through a mystery that cares more about tone than speed. Compared with broader adventure games, it is more compact and more stylized, and that makes it easier to remember than many larger opening chapters. The result is best treated as the start of a story rather than a complete meal, with the ending leaving room for more.
