BattleCON: Online

BattleCON: Online asks for timing, matchup knowledge, and a taste for mind games more than for reflexes. By our assessment, that is exactly where it shines: the core of BattleCON is reading an opponent, choosing ranges and options, and making each turn feel like a small duel of intent. The limitation is obvious too, because this kind of fighter can look opaque until the system clicks, and online competitive games always depend on finding the right opponent pool. In practice, it plays like a tabletop-style duel translated into digital form, with a lot of reading and very little waste. BattleCON: Online sits near the deeper end of competitive strategy fighters, well above button-mashing and well below casual brawls in approachability. It rewards study, and it gives back sharp, tense matches when both sides know what they are doing.
