Batman: Arkham VR turns the Arkham fantasy into a short, room-scale detective piece rather than a full action game. By our assessment, that shift is its strongest move: the cowl, the gadgets, the evidence work, and the hands-on presence of VR make the familiar Batman routine feel immediate in a way flat screen games cannot match. The trade-off is size, because this is not built for the open-ended brawling or sprawling city travel of the main Arkham series. In practice it is about close inspection, simple interaction, and moving through a few tightly staged scenes with the headset doing a lot of the work. It sits closer to an interactive Batman vignette than to a standard superhero game, and that is why it stands out. Batman: Arkham VR is best when a player wants atmosphere and detective touch more than long playtime or system depth.
