BOXVR is built for people who want fitness work inside a headset, not for players looking for a normal sports game. By our assessment, its best trick is how cleanly it turns boxing drills into a steady cardio session, with targets, combos and rhythm doing the heavy lifting. In use it is the sort of thing that asks for space, repetition and a bit of sweat, because the point is not just to look busy but to keep punching on beat. The limit is that it stays a workout first, so it does not offer the variety or combat texture of a full boxing sim. BOXVR sits with the better VR exercise apps rather than with arcade fighters, and that is exactly where it makes sense. The headset and the room around you matter as much as the menu.
