Avadon 2: The Corruption

Avadon 2: The Corruption asks for patience, party management, and a taste for old-school cRPG systems. By our assessment, its real strength is the amount of tactical role-playing packed into a party-based fantasy campaign: character builds, dialogue choices, quest structure, and combat all matter. The trade-off is that it looks and feels deliberately old-fashioned, with a lot of reading and a pace that is slower than modern streamlining usually allows. In practice it is the sort of game where inventories, travel, and careful party composition take real attention. It sits in the same rough space as other Spiderweb Software RPGs, closer to classic party adventures than to cinematic action-RPGs. The title’s built-in 2 makes the sequel status plain, and the game is for people who enjoy that narrow, text-heavy style rather than broad spectacle. По нашей оценке, это честная, плотная ролевая игра с очень конкретным вкусом, а не попытка понравиться всем подряд.
