Automation Empire

Automation Empire is for players who enjoy building production lines that look more like industrial plumbing than a neat city sim. By our assessment, its best trick is the scale of the logistics problem: mining, transport, sorting, and delivery all have to line up, and the pleasure comes from watching a messy setup turn into a working network. The downside is that this kind of factory game can become visually busy and fussy, especially once belts, trucks, and branching routes start crowding the screen. In practice it asks for planning, revision, and a willingness to spend time smoothing bottlenecks rather than chasing spectacle. Compared with lighter automation games, it is more about systems density than charm, and less about hand-holding than about letting the player untangle the mess. Automation Empire suits people who like logistics puzzles and industrial buildouts; anyone wanting a relaxed sandbox may find the pressure constant.
